The Cosmic Archive is a Famicom disk of the game Nazo no Murasame Jou (Mysterious Murasame Castle or Murasame's Mysterious Castle in English). The writing on it is mostly Japanese, so it can't easily be interpreted, except for the part at the bottom:
This treasure is found on Sublevel 3 in the Hole of Beasts, and it is best to take out the fire geysers if you're going to transport it with non-Red Pikmin.
