Flooding Aerofish are a new enemy in Pikmin: Night Shift.
Strategy[]
Much like Puffy Blowhogs, Flooding Aerofish float around the level during the day, and follow your Pikmin group once they see it. However, as opposed to blowing Pikmin, the Flooding Aerofish produces water droplets from its body like a raincloud. These droplets can concieveably drown a Pikmin, so Blue Pikmin are reccomended.
During the night, they are seen partially buried within the ground, sleeping and absorbing groundwater. If attacked, they battle like normal, but without the droplets.

Olimar's Notes[]
Much like the Puffy and Withering Blowhog bear almost no resemblance to other Blowhogs, the Flooding Aerofish looks nothing like other Glowfish. This beast absorbs groundwater to survive on land, and excess water is filtered out of its system as large droplets. Oddly for a marine family like the Glowfish, the Aerofish is capable of flight. My team is still looking into how it manages this.

Scale and debone this flying fish to make a spectacular filet! Just be sure to dry out the beast before preparing, or the meal will be soggy in no time.
